St George Utah – Aartje Bras Naylor Cluff, born March 2, 1928, passed away on August 2, 2024, at the age 96. Aartje was born in Ede, Holland and grew up in the Netherlands during World War II. She immigrated to the United States in 1952, after being baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1948.

She married John Walter Naylor in 1953 and has two children, John Jr. and Ken Naylor.

She raised her children in Tooele, Utah and worked as a cook, dog groomer, and waitress. She enjoyed dogs, crocheting, knitting, sewing, gardening and yodeling. She made many beautiful family heirlooms which have been passed through generations of family members.

She moved to Taylorsville, Utah in 1978 and worked for Abbott Labs. After her husband John passed away in 1986, she met and married Russell Henry Cluff in 1987 and they moved to St George, Utah in 2013.

Russell and Aartje loved to spend time dancing, traveling and attending the temple. They enjoyed marriage for 28 years prior to Russell's passing in 2015. At the time of her passing away, Aartje lived in St George.

She is survived by her sons John Naylor, Ken Naylor (Sandi); son John Cluff (Jone); daughter Beverly Cluff (Jack); and 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, located at 288 W. St George, UT. A visitation will be 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 prior to services.

Interment will be on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at the Mountain View Memorial Cemetery located at 3115 E Bengal Blvd, Cottonwood Heights, UT 84121
