St. George, Utah- Afton Terry Cannon, 85, passed at the comfort of her own home the evening of March 15th, 2026. She was born April 25, 1941 at home in Enterprise, Ut to parents Marion L. Terry and Leona Hinton Terry. Afton was married to Paige Cannon February 11, 1961 and lived in St. George where they raised their two children, Lyman and Julie. They were sealed for time and eternity in the St. George temple October 2, 1980.

She is survived by her two children, Lyman and Julie; two grandchildren, Tasha (Brent) Bracken and Whitney (Brett) Dastrup; great grandsons: Rydge and Sadlyr Bracken, Hudson Dastrup and Great Granddaughter Harper Dastrup. Sister's Elva Singleton and Camilla Brown, sister-in-law Rosie Cannon; many nieces and nephews: and many chosen granddaughters and grandsons.

She is preceded in death by the love of her life of 65 years, a year to the date, husband Paige Cannon, Granddaughter Keely Amber Hall, Her Parents, Father-in-law, Clarence Cannon and Fred Ingelude, mother in law Rosalind Ingledue and many of her loved siblings.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at Metcalf Bonzo Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah. A visitation from 8:30 a.m.to 9:30 a.m. at the Mortuary, mortuary prior to services. Interment will be at Tonaquint Cemetery, 1777 South Dixie Drive, St. George, Utah.
