St. George, Utah – Aldus Moser Reeve, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2016. She was born on October 20, 1919 in Logan, Utah to John Henri Moser and Aldine Wursten. She grew up in Logan where she learned to work hard and care for others throughout her long life. She graduated from cosmetology school in Riverside, California and was an exceptional hairdresser, seamstress and chef.
Aldus was engaged throughout her life in helping others. She devoted her life in making sure her sons were raised with love and care and provided them all the essentials to have a good and fruitful life. She spared nothing in giving to her children and grandchildren, as well as serving her neighbors, friends and extended family. She traveled long distances to support and aid her family during times of need and for all the special family events. She taught her family to serve others by her sterling example of putting other people's needs first in her life. She was tireless in her willingness to go the extra mile to help her fellow man.
Aldus served faithfully in the LDS Church throughout her life in numerous church callings such as Relief Society President and Counselor, Stake Employment Specialist and Temple Worker.
She is survived by her two sons: Ronald Jr. (Karen) and William (Carol); seven grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: John and Truman; five sisters: Maurine, Louise, Ruth, Clara and Katherine; son John; and granddaughter, Heather; grandson, Tyler; and great-grandson, Braden.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Southgate LDS 1st Ward Chapel, 1068 West Chandler Drive, St. George, Utah. A visitation will be held Saturday, prior to services, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., at the Chapel. Interment will be in Tonaquint Cemetery.Southgate LDS 1st Ward Chapel
