St George UT - Amy Marie Remington 42 was born prematurely on December 28, 1981 in Las Vegas, Nevada and passed away on January 17, 2024 after a long fight with life, her little body finally having enough.

Amy had a rough start from the beginning, and after 12 months we were lucky enough to legally adopt her through The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Social Services. Prior to us adopting Amy, we already knew she was a special needs baby, even though we did not request one, I believe she was assigned to us from Heavenly Father because of the love we would give her. Amy was a s strong little fighter, even wither her myriad of medical issues, multiple surgeries, we still consider her a great blessing in our lives. In 1984, we adopted her sister Kayli who was Amy's friend till the end.

The last 8+ years she has been residing under the great care from Grace and many workers thought those years at Chrysalis, since Amy's adopted Mom, Marlene died in 2016. Her second stepmother Carolyn, also loved her, passed away in 2022. Amy will now join in re-connecting with those that have preceded her, including some beloved pets. She will be perfected with no more problems.

Amy is survived by her father Mark Remington, and stepmom Glenna from Santa Clara, UT, sister Kayli Armstrong, nieces Anniyah, Brey, and nephew Robbie all from Washington City, UT, and other family members from Las Vegas.

I want to thank all those who took such good care of Amy all this time, Chrysalis and their caregivers, Grace her loving stand-in mom for the last 8+ years and Dixie Hospice for taking wonderful care of Amy, making sure she was comfortable till the end.
