November 20, 1929 – February 3, 2022
Hurricane, Utah – D Anne Manning was born November 20, 1929, in Farmington, Utah to Clyde Harley Wilcox and Blanche Clark Wilcox. She was the 3 rd of 8 children and grew up living on a farm. She graduated from Davis High School in 1947 and married her high school sweetheart, Richard Clifford Manning on April 8, 1949, in the Salt Lake Temple. In 1952, they moved to Burbank, CA where they raised their five children. In addition to raising her children, Anne worked at Walt Disney Studios and Lockheed until her husband graduated from U.C.L.A. with his degree in accounting. They lived in six different residences in Burbank over the course of 44 years. Once her sweetheart passed in 1996, she moved to Valencia, California and lived there until moving to Hurricane, Utah in 2016.
Anne served in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in many callings including Ward and Stake Primary president, Stake Relief Society president, as a young women's leader and as a temple worker in the Los Angeles Temple. She also served as the president of the McCambridge Park Tennis Club.
Anne passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022, surrounded by her children. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. Manning; three siblings: Leo Wilcox, Harlow Wilcox and Cordell Wilcox; one sister-in-law, Earlene Wilcox; and two brothers-in-law: Russell Walpole and Robert Manning. She is survived by her five children: Wendy (Allen) McKell including their 5 children and 18 grandchildren; Michael (Gayle) Manning including their 6 children and 13 grandchildren; Susy (Steve) Westphal including their 12 children, 27 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; Rick (Michele) Manning including their 4 children; and Tyson (Julia) Manning including their 4 children; four siblings: Lugean Walpole, Ralph (Brigitte) Wilcox, Winn (Ann) Wilcox and Charlynn (James) Clark; and four sisters-in-law: Rosemary Wilcox, Judy Wilcox, Sherry Wilcox and Stella Manning.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at 1:00 p.m., with a viewing from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Far West Building, 320 North 3400 West, Hurricane, UT, 84737.

She will be laid to rest next to her eternal companion at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills, California at a later date.
