Annette Smith Roberts, age 77, passed away on November 18, 2013 in St. George, Utah. She was born on May 29, 1936 in Murray, Utah to Ralph Christiansen Smith and Helen Margaret Smith. She married Kenneth Stock Roberts on March 17, 1955 in the Salt Lake City Temple. Annette was raised in Garfield and Magna, Utah. She was a graduate of Cyprus High School and later graduated from Beauty College. She cut hair out of her home for many years and later had a 20 year career for Appliance Buyers Credit Corporation. After her retirement, Annette and her husband served an LDS services mission in the Family History Mission in St. George. After their mission they remained in St. George. Annette had a gifted voice and loved music. She sang with multiple vocal groups throughout her life. She was an active member of the LDS Church where she held many callings, most of them around music along with being relief society president. Annette is survived by her husband Kenneth, children: Julie (Richard) of Toquerville, Lynda of Taylorsville, Dale (Connie) of South Jordan, and Russell (Vickie) of South Jordan, 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, sisters: Geraldine Smith and Karen Smith, and brothers: Steve Smith and Stanley Smith. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 22, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ivins LDS 9th Ward Chapel, 240 East 1060 South, Ivins, UT. A visitation will be held at the Chapel, prior to services, from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. Interment and a short graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 23, at 2:00 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah.
