St. George, Utah - Arlena Heidenreich Duke passed away July 18, 2012. She was born November 10, 1921 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married Russell Duke on December 4, 1954 in Provo, Utah who preceded her in death. She worked 17 years for Metropolitan Life in the Provo District, 7 of which she was Office Manager. She was a member of the St. George Catholic Church.

Arlena loved the outdoors, snowmobiling, golfing and traveling around the country. She loved traveling in Alaska and made many trips there. She loved to watch Jazz Basketball and especially enjoyed a good cup of coffee in her motorhome.

She is survived by daughter, Darlene Reidhead-McNutt (Ken) of St. George; son, Robert "Bob" Atwood (Emily) of St. George; daughter, Jannette Jensen (Jim) of St. George; sister, Betty Hatch of Salt Lake City; 8 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Monday, July 23, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., with a short service to follow at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah. Interment will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Orem City Cemetery, Orem, Utah. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Metcalf Mortuary, (435) 673-4221.
