St. George, UT - Arminta J. Calvin, 79, better known as Mickie , passed away May 29, 2010 in St. George. She was born April 25, 1931 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Peter and Pearl Jensen. She married Dick Calvin on January 5, 1951 and spent the first 2 ½ years in Fairbanks, AK with her husband. Mickie played golf at Willow Creek Country Club in Salt Lake City and Bloomington Country Club in St. George. As a youngster, she sang with the University of Utah Summer Festival for three years. She was a member of the PEO Chapter in Salt Lake City. She is survived by her husband, Dick; two sons: David (Constance) and Thomas(Catherine); five grandchildren, Peter, Justin, Matthew, Christopher and Grace; and one great-grandchild, Easton. She is also survived by her loving sister, Dartear Price. As per Mickies wish, there will be no funeral or memorial. She had many friends because she knew how to be a true friend. She will be missed.
