St. George, Utah - Barbara Horlyck, age 87, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 31, 2015 in St. George at Seasons Care Home. She was born in Palm Beach, Florida on January 22, 1928 and resided in Central, Utah for 32 years. Barbara helped start and form the Central Water Board and worked on the Board for 15 years along with her husband, Walter. One of her greatest joys in life were animals. She volunteered her time frequently at the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Veyo, Utah along with her great friend, Gwen. She is survived by her three daughters: Lynn Molloy of Las Vegas; Barbara Bailey-Wailey of Alaska and Sharon Head of Arizona. Barbara also has seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and her little shih tzu, Precious. Barbara was a happy, God and Jesus loving person with many friends. She touched the lives of all who were lucky to know her and she will be missed by many. She will be laid to rest at Palm Mortuary in Las Vegas, next to her husband, Walter.
