St. George, Utah - Barbara E. Bowen, 86, passed away April 29, 2014. She was born in 1928 in Monroe, Idaho to Clifford and Ethel Whitmill Keller. She was married to Gerald Bowen for 63 wonderful years. They loved traveling, spending time with family fishing and boating on the lake at their cabin in Wyoming. She is survived by her loving children, her son Shayne and his wife Andi, her daughter Kristy and her husband Bart, her granddaughters Staci and Cassandra, 5 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren, as well as many, many friends and family members. She was a devoted and wonderful wife and mother, a person of much energy and enthusiasm. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at the Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd, St. George. Visitations will be held Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at the mortuary. Interment will follow in the St. George City Cemetery.
