Barbara Markus passed away October 5, 2014 in Hurricane, Utah. She was born June 16, 1936 in Rock Springs, Wyoming. She married Robert Markus in Salt Lake City, Utah on August 14, 1953. She is survived by her husband, Robert Markus; three children: Sharla, Kari and Steven; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dr. Milan Uremovich. She loved to spend time with family and friends. She was actively involved with the Catholic Church, Red Hats and Senior Center. Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Metcalf Hurricane Valley Mortuary, 140 North Main Street, Hurricane, Utah.
