Obituary

St. George, UT - Belma Pulispher Jex passed away February 6, 2010. She was born March 30, 1913 to Charles William and Annie Hutchinson Brown Pulispher in Castle Gate, Utah. She married Ludvic Gordon Jex January 2, 1935 in Provo, Utah. They had one daughter and two sons. She was raised in Mapleton, Utah. She attended school in Mapleton and Springville. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, of which she served in Primary for 11 years and also taught 10 year olds in Sunday School. She taught Book of Mormon in Relief Society for 2 years and was in the Relief Society Presidency for three years. She was also a member of The Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She lived in Spanish Fork for 47 years and spent the last 13 years living with her daughter in Ivins. She was a wonderful mother and wife. She is survived by a daughter, Doris (Norman K.) Woodhouse of Ivins, Utah; sons, Ralph (Jeannie) Jex of Spanish Fork, Utah and Jay (Joan) Jex of Cody, Wyoming. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 79 great-grandchildren, and 42 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers and sister, and two grandsons and one granddaughter. A visitation will be held in St. George on Tuesday, February 9th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary located at 288 W. St. George Blvd. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at Walker Mortuary, 187 S. Main St., Spanish Fork, Utah. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Metcalf Mortuary, (435) 673-4221.
