St. George, Utah - Bennie "Ben" Edward Duty, 77, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2021, with family by his side.

Ben was the youngest child born to Amy Lillian and Lester Duty in Lewiston, Montana on March 15, 1944. He graduated in 1962 from Pleasant Grove High School. Ben was married to Dianne Duty for over 50 wonderful years, who preceded him in death on August 4, 2019.

Ben is survived by his children: Michelle (Buff) Williams, St. George Utah, Bryant (Robin) Duty, Enterprise, Utah, and Patty Moody, Washington State; seven grandchildren: Brekk Bird, Erin (Jordan) Colby, Raleigh (Will) Taylor, Bryant Duty Jr., Ashley (Ian) Barker, Dallas (Tori) Bengston, Megan (Austin) Rankin; and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings: Donald, Marvin, Jerry, Robert, and Doris (Buchanan).

Ben worked at Geneva Steel in Orem, Utah and was transferred to Gary Steel Works in 1986 where he retired. He loved golfing, hunting, fishing, building cars, animals, and spending time with family and friends.

Ben will be greatly missed as he touched the lives of many.
