Washington, UT
– Benjamin Austin Sarver, 15, passed away in his sleep on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at his home in Washington, UT. He was born on December 24, 1999 in Parkersburg, WV, the fifth child of John A and Susan Pierce Sarver.
Ben was born with a rare neurological disorder, Pelizaeus-Merzbacher Disease that prevented him from walking or talking. However, he was full of personality and was greatly loved by his family. Ben is finally free from an earthly body that has confined him for so long. He is now fully healed and is walking, talking and even running for the first time, in the presence his Savior, Jesus. Even though Ben never took a step nor said a word, he had an amazingly positive impact upon his family and those around him.
He is survived by his parents: siblings: Emily Crutchfield of Dallas, TX, Amanda Kolody, Matthew Sarver and Molly Sarver, all of Washington, UT; his maternal grandparents, Austin and Amy Pierce of Washington; and his paternal grandparents, John and Zetta Sarver of Walker, WV.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 288 West St. George Blvd, St. George, Utah.
