St. George, UT - Berdean (Bernie) Montalbano of Tacoma, WA passed away in St. George, Utah on December 20, 2009 after a complicated illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank. She is survived by her daughters: Lori Fowler (Darryl), Kim Fields, Cheri Lofton, and Julie Montalbano-Love (Chris); seven beloved grandchildren: Carly, Jenefer, JJ (Anna), Nicholas (Alexcia), Michael, Jordan, and Chelisa; twelve precious great- grandchildren; brother, Doyle Bingham (Blondell); and numerous relatives and friends. She was loved very much and will be greatly missed by all of us. She was a devoted member of the LDS Church her entire life. Her final resting place will be at the New Tacoma Cemetery in Tacoma, WA. A visitation will be held in St. George Wednesday, December 23rd from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 W. St. George Blvd. Funeral services will be held in Tacoma Washington Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the LDS Church located at 4219 Beckonridge Dr. W. University Place, WA. Visitation will be held Wednesday at 12:00 noon at the church, prior to services. Bernies daughters would like to express their gratitude to Dixie Medical Center for the exceptional and loving care their beloved mother received there.
