Obituary

Cedaredge Colorado - Betty W. Bradford, 90, passed away Friday morning, February 3, 2012 in the home of her daughter Diane Hamrick. She was, for several years, a resident of St. George, Utah until she could no longer live by herself. She then lived with her son (Ralph) Jerry Walker for 2 years and Diane for the last 8 months.

She was born June 11, 1921, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Charles E. and Nettie L. ( McComb) Ward. On the March 1, 1973, she married Sterling Taylor Bradford in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Mom was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in a variety of callings throughout her life. She was a devout genealogist until the last four years of her life and is a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She was full of enthusiasm and energy in all she would undertake to do.

Betty is survived by her children: Ralph G. (Cheryl) Walker of West Plains, Mo., Thomas D. (Linda) Walker of Erie, Co., Diane (Floyd) Hamrick of Cedaredge, Co., Richard W. (Karen) Bradford of Bountiful, Ut., Beverly (Ralph) Wall of Green River, Wy.; 33 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sterling T. Bradford; daughter, Janice Brown; and son, Robert S. Bradford.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 13, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Westridge LDS Chapel, 415 Westridge Dr., St. George, Utah. A visitation will be held Monday, prior to services, at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel. Interment will follow at Tonaquint Cemetery, 1777 South Dixie Drive, St. George, Utah.
