Betty Blanche Cowley Bodell Strong was born on June 26, 1930, and passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026, in Sandy, Utah.

Betty devoted her life to her family and her home. She was an exceptional homemaker and a loving, devoted mother whose greatest joy came from caring for others. Her home was a place of warmth, order, and love, reflecting the values she lived by each day.

She was a faithful and devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her life was guided by her testimony, service, and quiet faith, and she leaves a legacy of devotion, sacrifice, and kindness.

She is survived by her children: Susan Bodell Tanner and her husband David Tanner; Sherry Bodell Newbold and her husband Barry Newbold; Rick Arden Bodell and his wife Jerolyn Bodell; and Christine Bodell Teran and her husband Bruce Teran. She was the beloved grandmother of 14, great-grandmother to 41, great-great-great-grandmother to three all of whom were a source of immense pride and joy to her.

Betty will be remembered for her gentle strength, unwavering love, and lifelong dedication to her family and faith. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
