Obituary

St. George, UT - Brian Lee Olson passed away July 30, 2010 after a long battle with Cancer. He was born February 10, 1969 in St. Maries, Idaho to Charles Edward and Vicki Zundel Olson. He married Robin Marie Wahlen. Brian grew up in Hamilton, Montana and later moved to Salt Lake City where graduated from the University of Utah and received his Masters Degree from Weber State College. After graduating from Montana Law School, he practiced general litigation law. He enjoyed stream fishing, golfing, reading and working on old cars, especially Volkswagens. He also enjoyed helping others professionally without monetary reward. He had a dry sense of humor that kept you smiling and laughing, even up to the day he died. He was a kind and loving man, never complained and always looked at the bright side of things. Brian was loved by everyone and surrounded by many, many friends and colleagues. Brian is preceded in death by his mother, Vicki. He is survived by his wife, Robin; his three sons: Charles, Jacob and Quinton; father, Charles; brother, Edward (Lori) Olson; in-laws, David and Karen Wahlen; brother-in-laws: David Wahlen, Stephen Volmar, Kirk (Lori) Wahlen, and Ryan Wahlen; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Brian will be missed by all those who knew him. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bloomington LDS Stake Center, 200 West Brigham Road, St. George, Utah. Visitations will be held Tuesday, August 3rd from 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd. and on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Stake Center, prior to services. Interment will at the Tonaquint Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Metcalf Mortuary, (435) 673-4221.
