St. George, Utah - Bruce Tippetts Little, 96, departed this life on February 5, 2024. He was born December 10, 1927, in Delta, Utah to Carlisle Threlkeld Little and Thora Tippetts. He married Jeanene Eyre in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 6, 1967. They were sealed together with their children in the St. George, Utah Temple on September 15, 1979.

Bruce spent his childhood in and around Delta, Utah. In 1946 he graduated from Delta High School and married Norma Jean Law in 1949.  He later moved to California to work in the title business.  He started in the mailroom but quickly began learning the business, rising through the ranks.  Bruce and Norma Jean had four children, Shauna, Richard, Rand and Sheri, while living in California and Nevada. He and Norma Jean divorced in 1963.

Bruce met his sweetheart, Jeanene Eyre, at a church meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1967.  They were married a few months later and soon started their family.  Bruce and Jeanene added three children to the family - Zachary, Joshua and Rachel and shared the next 56 wonderful years together. He worked for a national title company, Chicago Title, rising to the position of Vice President. While raising his young family, Bruce started his own business in Las Vegas. Through hard work and his many friends and connections he built a very successful title business, Land Title of Nevada. During this time, he also served in many community and civic organizations, including as the Lieutenant Governor of the West Region of Kiwanis International.

Bruce left the title business in 1984 to pursue other business interests that brought the family to Salt Lake City, Utah. His retirement in 1987 allowed him to move his family to St. George, Utah where he loved warm, sunny days, enjoying several hobbies.  Woodworking was a favorite pastime, where he built many unique projects with his wife.

He loved the gospel of Jesus Christ and had a firm testimony of the truthfulness of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was quick to share his love of the Savior and gratitude for his membership in the church. Bruce served in many church leadership positions and he and Jeanene served two LDS missions together in Washington and Ohio. He spent countless hours serving his ancestors and others in the St. George Temple.

Bruce was remarkably generous and kind.  He loved people and was always willing to give to those in need.  Bruce and Jeanene's home was home to many beyond his immediately family.  It was a safe place where love was truly felt.  They welcomed in foster children, several nephews and nieces, cousins, grandchildren, and various foreigners.  Those who knew Bruce knew they could come to him for help when they needed it.  He regularly expressed his love to his family and friends.  He was loved by so many.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanene Little. He is survived by his children: Rand E. Little (Patricia) of Marysville, Ohio, and Sheri Little of Escondido, California, and three children: Zachary B. Little (Christy) of Provo, Utah, Joshua E. Little (Heather) of St. George, Utah, and Rachel E. Little (Brett) of St. George, Utah; 27 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and a brother, Jerry Wind (Bonnie) of Santa Clara, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings: Thora May Wright, Harry Wind, Kay Wind, Jola Hollar; his children Shauna Kight and Richard Little; and his granddaughter, Kerri Graves.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the Morningside Meetinghouse, 930 South Morningside Drive, St. George, Utah 84790. Friends and family are invited to visit Saturday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., prior to the funeral.  Interment will be in the St. George City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Humanitarian Aid of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
