Bryan Lee Mount

Jun 24, 1962 — Oct 22, 2026

Bryan “Spud” Lee Mount of Parowan and St. George, Utah passed away from respiratory failure at the St. George Hospital on Thursday, October 22nd, 2026.

Born to Billy Leroy and Betty Mount in Yuma Arizona, on June 24th, 1962, Bryan lived a life of laughs, love, and a small but mighty mentality.

Bryan was a stalwart member of the Parowan, UT community until his later years. Graduating from Parowan High School in 1980. While growing up, albeit not vertically, after high school, he met the love of his life Bronwyn Belnap, of St. George. They were married in 1991 in St. George, UT. After their marriage they moved to Parowan, where they welcomed their two sons, Dillon and Cooper, who were fortunate to have the height of their mother, with their father’s wild side.

Bryan had a propensity for bringing humor to every situation. When he could he would express himself through his joy for cycling, golf, and racquetball to stay busy. Bryan loved to spend time up the “Second Left Hand” Canyon between Parowan and Brian Head. He was a good grandpa, who always loved his granddaughter Cooper, even when she would try to exploit his somewhat suspect banana allergy.

Bryan is proceeded in death by his parents Billy and Betty, and his son SGT Bryan Cooper Mount, and a small pack of miniature dachshunds. He is survived by his wife Bronwyn, sister Cheryl, Son Dillon, Daughter in Law Cierra, and granddaughter Cooper.

In alignment with Bryan’s wishes the family will not be holding a traditional viewing or funeral. On Friday October, 30th, 2026, the family will host a Celebration of Life and Vigil from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Metcalf Bonzo Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St George, Utah.
