St. George, Utah - Burnetta Pearson Dunn passed away December 21, 2013. She was born June 7, 1923 in Elsinore, Utah to John and Ana Irene Svedin Pearson. She married Bud Duane Dunn on September 4, 1941. They were later sealed in the Manti LDS Temple on June 26, 1942.

Bud and Burnetta spent all their married life in Salt Lake City before moving to St. George in 1994. They owned several pharmacies in Salt Lake City. Burnetta also ran her own Beauty Salon for several years. Bud and Burnetta owned a ranch in Park City which provided many pleasant times for family and friends.

Burnetta served the LDS church in many callings throughout the years; including Relief Society President, Young Womens President and Primary President. Bud and Burnetta served a mission to New Zealand for the Church and worked in various temples during their married life. Burnetta has been blessed with many good friends. She cherished the many fun times she spent with her friends and "Club Ladies".

Bud and Burnetta had many travels that took them to various corners of the world, usually picking up their sons from missions. Their best times though were probably spent camping in the great outdoors with their many camping buddies.

Her husband and family, her church and her many wonderful friends have made Burnettaa life a true joy.

She is survived by her husband, Bud; children: Kathryn (Kevin) Pugmire, Brian (Carol) Dunn, Paul (Holli) Dunn, and daughter-in-law Linda Dunn;eleven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Rodney Dunn.

A visitation will be held Thursday, December 26, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. at 8:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., with a visitation one hour prior, at Mt. View Memorial Estates, 3115 East Bengal Blvd. (7800 South), Salt Lake City, Utah. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Metcalf Mortuary, (435) 673-4221.
