Ivins, Utah - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Caleb Rowe Thomas Rushton, who left this world too soon on September 12, 2025, at the age of 42.

Caleb was born and raised in West Valley City, Utah, before spending his adult life in Southern Utah, where he dedicated his heart and soul to raising his two beloved daughters, Chaycee and Quinn. His love for his girls was a source of strength and pride. He was a devoted father who cherished every moment spent with them, whether it was teaching them to ride bikes, catch frogs, paint their nails or spend hours crafting. He was all in just to be their dad.

Though Caleb's life was not without its challenges, he had a lifelong love for the outdoors. He loved hunting, camping and fishing, especially at his favorite retreat at Blue Springs. As a young man, Caleb thrived in sports, particularly baseball and wrestling. He was a state level wrestler for Hunter High School.

Caleb worked for many years as a highly skilled painter specializing in custom, high-end homes. His talent, dedication, and hard work were apparent to all who knew him.

He is survived by his two beautiful daughters, Chaycee and Quinn and their mother, Bradie Hurst. He is the beloved son of Barbara Thomas and Steve Rushton, and the cherished brother of Ethan (Carol, Cora & Vera) and Tessa (Brent, Isla, Owen & Evan).

A celebration of Caleb's life will be held on October 10, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. in the Ivins City Cemetery, 200 West 400 North, Ivins, Utah, where family and friends are invited to gather and honor his memory.

Caleb will be remembered for the love he had for his daughters, his passion for the outdoors, and the deep connection he shared with his family and friends. Though his time with us was far too short, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
