St George, Utah - Carl Allen Nealson passed away from pulmonary complications on December 16, 2022, in St. George, Utah. He was 79 years old. He was born to Earl R. Nealson and Edna Rose Weatherby Nealson in Ogden, Utah, on January 21, 1943. He graduated from Bonneville High School and attended Weber State College in business administration. He married his sweetheart, Joan Thurgood, in 1966. He was dedicated to his family and brought love and joy into our lives.

Carl took over the family business, Roy Auto Parts, in 1971. He continued a successful career in the automotive industry until he retired to St. George in 2008. Carl enjoyed traveling in his motorhome and spending time in Bear Lake.

Carl is survived by his beloved wife, Joan Thurgood Nealson; brother, Richard Nealson; children: Tyler Carl Nealson (Lisa), Angie Heiner (Paul); his grandchildren: Samantha Taylor Nealson, Sarah Hovley (Joseph), Ethan Paul Heiner (Megan), Ellie Heiner; and one great-grandchild on the way.
