IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Carol Aileen
Garton
September 15, 1944 – March 3, 2024
St George Utah – Carol Aileen Garton "PeeWee", 79, passed away quietly on March 3, 2024, surrounded by her family and friends.
Carol was born on September 15, 1944, to Cecil and Sevilla Johnson of Mondovi, WI. She was raised on her parent's dairy farm and attended Mondovi public schools. She received a BS degree from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire and taught French in the Chippewa Falls school system for several years. After retiring she enjoyed traveling and went on several cruises with Don, her husband of 55 years. She enjoyed their home in the Lake Wissota area in the Summertime and their mountain home in St. George, Utah in the Wintertime. She tended and loved her flower gardens at both homes.
She was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and attended several games in Lambeau Field. Carol also loved watching FOX news and keeping up with the national news.
Carol is survived by her husband, Don; sister and brother in laws: Rhonda and Ric Caulkins of Gurnee, IL and Rosella and Brian Garton of Albuquerque, NM; and two nephews: Scott Belger of Gurnee, IL and Matthew Garton of Sammamish, WA.
Carols wishes were to be cremated. There will be no funeral services.
Memorials can be sent to the Chippewa Humane Association in Carols name, https://www.chippewahumane.com/
