IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Carol Ann
Schick
August 23, 1952 – January 26, 2025
Hurricane, Utah – On January 26, 2025, without a mean bone in her body but as an example of pure love, Carol Ann Schick left us all to join her mother and father, whom she missed intensely. She was born the eldest daughter of Ernest L. Eggli and Margie Hiatt Eggli on August 23, 1952, in Tremonton, Utah.
Carol is a 1970 graduate of Cypress High School. She loved to ride motorcycles and often spoke of how she enjoyed driving through the curves in which few could keep up. She met many friends on these motorcycle rides including her husband, Ron Schick, whom she married on June 14, 2003. They were later sealed in the St. George Temple on July 31, 2010.
Carol is the perfect example of being a caregiver, caring for her mother for nearly 15 years. She was selfless in all she did and would often make an offer to anyone sitting nearby to try something from her plate nearly every meal. She was always willing to help in every project. Hand in hand with her husband Ron they accomplished much, especially building a home. Her most fulfilling achievement in her life was getting her pilot's license. Today she wears the wings of a true angel.
Carol spent many years working at Autoliv in Brigham City. While living in Hurricane, she worked as a real estate agent and later retired from Lite House Dressing in 2017.
Carol loved animals, especially horses, goats and dogs. Newborns were her weakness. She wanted to take them all home with her. She loved exploring the deserts of Southern Utah, fishing, camping, and experiencing nature. She loved family and watched her nephews and nieces grow and raise families of their own as if they were her own sons and daughters.
Carol is survived by her husband, Ron; brothers: Ernie Eggli of West Valley City, Utah and Michael Eggli of Tremonton, Utah; sister, Margie Erickson of Tremonton, Utah; and nieces and nephews: Jessica Eggli Griffin, Travis Eggli, Tiffany Eggli Baird, Tim Cole and Matt Cole.
Services will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., with a gathering of family and friends at 9:15 a.m., at the Heritage Chapel, 1178 South 700 West, Hurricane, Utah.
The family would like to thank Dixie Care and Hospice as well as The Beehive House and their staff members for the excellent care they gave to Carol.
