St. George, UT - Caroldean "Carrie" Hall - Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother returned to her Heavenly Father on Nov. 27, 2012. She was born in Chester, Utah on Aug. 11, 1924 and was 88 years old. She is survived by a loving husband, Blaine Hall, 5 children; Dean Hall, Allen Hall, Karren Willard, Miles Hall, and Colleen Earnshaw, 31 grandchildren, 46 grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.

Carrie and Blaine were married in the Salt Lake Temple on August 28, 1942. No one would doubt the love that they had for one another. Theirs is a love that will endure though eternity. She was a homemaker and loved every minute of it. During her life they lived in various places, but for 32 years they lived in Thousand Oaks, Calif, and have called St. George, Utah home for the past 18 years.

Carrie had a great love of people and especially of her Savior Jesus Christ. Her life was one of dedication to the Lord. She was a great organizer. She had served as Relief Society President in her ward and stake, and until recently, for 15 years had served as compassionate service leader in her ward. She and Blaine served 2 missions; one at the Mesa Arizona Temple Visitors Center, and the other in Manila, Philippines. She also served in the temple as an ordinance worker for almost 40 years. Carrie was a remarkable woman and was well loved by everyone who knew her because she loved so much in return. When you were loved by Carrie you knew it, and she will be greatly missed by all.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at the Rustic LDS Chapel, 2650 S. River Rd., St. George, Utah. Visitations will be held Friday, November 30, 2012 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Metcalf Mortuary, 288 W. St. George Blvd., and Saturday from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. prior to services at the Stake Center. Interment will be Monday, December 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 10600 S. 1700 E., Sandy, Utah. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Metcalf Mortuary, (435) 673-4221.
