Hurricane, Utah – Our beloved Wife, Mother, and Friend, Carole Christine Hutt Todd returned to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father, Friday, 30 June 2023, after a valiant battle with lung cancer at the age of 74. She was born in Barking, England, UK, to Cyril & Beatrice Hutt. She is the youngest of two children.

Carole married Richard Todd on December 28, 1974, and the two were sealed for time and all eternity on 30 June 1976 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with a strong testimony of Jesus Christ, The Book of Mormon, and Genealogy, which she dedicated much of her earthly life to. She was a champion for those she loved and a hero for the thousands she did genealogy for.

A proud British citizen, she never pursued her US Citizenship, as she believed it would betray who she was. She was known for her kindness and sense of humor. She loved playing practical jokes, especially if it involved throwing water over a shower curtain. She also enjoyed instigating water fights, both indoors and outdoors, which often resulted in her being completely soaked in record time.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa; parents; and older brother, Peter.  She is survived by her husband, Richard; children: Tamara, Tara, Scott (Debi), Stephen (Susie), Ryan (Sarah), and Chris (Cindy); as well as 21 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Hurricane 6th Ward Chapel, 677 South 700 West, Hurricane, Utah. A visitation will be held Wednesday prior to services, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Utah Veterans Cemetery and Memorial Park, Bluffdale, Utah.
