St. George, UT - Carolyn L. Fleming, age 74, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2013 at her home in St. George, Utah, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on September 9, 1939, in Long Beach, California to Vernon L. And Ida Mills Anderson.

Carolyn graduated from Jordan High School in Long Beach in 1957. She married a year later and had two children whom she loves dearly. After being divorced, she met the love of her life and eternal companion Roy A. Fleming. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Los Angeles Temple. Carolyn had always loved Utah. She used to camp out at Duck Creek with her parents when she was a child. Her trips to Utah continued after she and Roy were married and he agreed with her that St. George was the ideal place to retire. Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Carolyn is survived by her husband Roy, children: Brian (Anne) Bernecker and Karen (Jerrie) Presley, stepdaughters: Dee Keppel, JoAnn (Charlie) Verso, Robin (Dave) Cull and nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah. Visitations will be held at the mortuary on Friday, November 29, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, prior to services, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow at the St. George City Cemetery.
