IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Carolyn Kate
Godwin
February 7, 1930 – June 22, 2010
St. George, UT - On June 22, 2010 Carolyn Kate Godwin entered into the joy and rest of the Lord God, her Savior. She was born February 7, 1930 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She was lovingly adopted by Lewis and Annie Conway Founds, and grew up for a time in Mobile, Alabama. The family later located to Ogden, Utah where she had 4 of her 8 children: Walter, Wayne, Nancy and David. Joseph Robert (Bob) her husband had 2 children of his own, Randy and Terri. Bob and Carol saw fit to blend their families together August 6, 1956 and became the Godwins. Joe and Connie were later added to complete the Godwin family. St. George has become the home for most of the family over the years, from 1986 to the present. Carol served alongside her husband at the Elks Lodge in St. George. She loved all of her grand and great-grandchildren as shown by the many photos throughout her home. Carol always found time to remember birthdays and special occasions, and always enjoyed a good visit with just about anyone. Carol had a way of being anyones mom. She would scold you if you needed it and would always give you a kiss and a hug as you were leaving. She has now been reunited with her husband and we are joyful for her reunion as we miss her presence here with us. Carol has a legacy of 8 children, 26 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.
