St. George, Utah - Cathie Susan Harrison, 64 years old, passed away October 20, 2024, peacefully in her sleep. She was born on September 13, 1960, in San Diego California to Myra and Kent Nicklas.

Her father was in the Navy, so her family moved a few times. Key West, FL, Bremerton, WA, San Pedro, CA, Oahu, HI, always coming back to San Diego, California. She graduated from Kearny High School in Linda Vista, California in 1978. After getting married, she moved to Woodbridge, Virginia where she gave birth to her first daughter, Christine. She made her way back to the St. George area where she had her second daughter, Elizabeth.

She worked at the Department of Motor Vehicles and Target. She eventually retired from Target giving her more free time to enjoy life. She enjoyed reading in her down time and was always on the lookout for a new book or series. She loved to spend time with her parents and often traveled with her sister, whether it was to find a new food place to eat or visit a new town. She had two cats, Wynter and Solomon, who she loved dearly. When she could she would make her way up north to visit her grandkids and watch their sporting events.

Cathie is survived by her daughters: Christine (Corey) and Elizabeth (Erik); her grandchildren: Boston, Emmett, Espyn, Xander, and Eloise; her parents: Myra and Kent; and siblings: Cindy and Don.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah.
