Cathy Elaine Wilson 80, died April 26, 2025, in Hurricane, UT. She was born on June 13, 1944 in San Diego, CA to Daniel John and Sonora Elizabeth Sphar and grew up in Norwalk, CA

Cathy was a devoted wife and mother and very active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving others in many callings and personally

She taught pre-K and kindergarten for many years at B'nai Emet (Jewish) school and loved children of all ages.  She loved flowers, specifically roses, and sewing.  One of her favorite things to make was baby blankets for children in need in hospitals, making her last blanket last week

Cathy is survived by her children John (Laura) Wilson, Lynette (Bryan) Crandall, Marcie (Eddie) Christensen, and Kenneth (Erica) Wilson Jr., 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth Roger Wilson; and her two sons: Matthew Charles and Daniel James

Funeral services will be held on Friday. May 2, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., with a viewing prior at 1:00 p.m., at Metcalf Hurricane Valley Mortuary, 140 North Main Street, Hurricane, Utah. Interment will be in the Hurricane City Cemetery located at 255 East 600 North.
