Ivins, Utah – Charles Randall Flower, Sr., 83, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022, in his home. He was born August 15, 1939, in Winslow, Arizona, the only child of Charles Ruford Flower and Ila Slode Flower.

Charles married Linda L. Leonard on November 9, 1960, in Williams, Arizona and celebrated 62 years of marriage. They were blessed with six wonderful children.

In 2005, Charles retired from the Washington County Sheriff's Department after 34 years in law enforcement. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings including Primary, Bishopric and Scouting.

Charles is survived by his wife, Linda; children: Susan Barker, Melinda (Allen) Davis, Debi Flower, Ronda Smith, Charles Jr. (Heidi) Flower and Robert Flower; and nine grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 22, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in the Ivins City Cemetery, 200 West 400 North, Ivins, Utah. A visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah.
