Charlotte Davis Weidemann
On the morning of March 27, 2026, our beloved mother, sister, grandma, aunt and good friend was taken back home. Born the eighth of nine children to Oleen and Rachel Robinson Davis on August 13, 1942, in Cedar City, Utah.
She graduated from Cedar High School in 1960, as a proud Redman and was known as “Char”. She led a simple yet relatively busy life, raising two sons and many others at her place of business, The Playhouse, for twenty-seven years.
Her hobbies included bowling, as she anchored for many of the league teams she rolled for throughout the years. She enjoyed driving her sisters around town to their lunches, dinners, the Utah Summer Games, but especially the basketball games at SUU T Birds of Southern Utah.
Coming from a meek beginning, she never desired travel or extravagance and that never changed throughout her life. However humble she would appear, she was very comfortable in herself, more intelligent than most of us and never rubbing it in or letting us know it. She had no enemies, only good friends and memories up to the very end.
She is survived by two sons: Micheal Rene’ Leuasseur and Terry Allen (Marjee Minor) Weidemann; one brother: Mazel Kay Davis; five grandchildren: Clinton Joe Hulet, Jonlin Jane Brigner-Hulet, Rachael Nicole Jackson, Amanda Lynn Weidemann and Ausha Decker Trujillo; three great grandchildren: Aria Rose Trujillo and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Carlyle Davis, Lloyd Davis, Gary Davis, Barbara Davis, Mary Davis Sparrow, Jay Don Davis and Ione Davis Bonzo. We already miss you from The Playhouse, Mom and we will see you again in Heaven!
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at the Cedar City Cemetery, 900 North Main, Cedar City, Utah. A visitation will be held from 11:00-11:45 a.m. at Southern Utah Mortuary, 446 South 300 West, Cedar City, Utah., prior to graveside service.
