Hurricane, UT - Our mother, sister and friend, Chyrrel Timothy passed August 16, 2009. Born March 28, 1936, Chyrrels goodly parents were Raymond and Fern Ruesch DeMille of Hurricane, Utah. Chyrrel married Stanley Bundy May 1955. They had three daughters, Denise, Teresa and Tammy. They were later divorced. Chyrrel married Eugene Pettus in 1962. They had one son, Bruce. They later divorced. Chyrrel married Arden Timothy, September 1965. They had one son, Dallen. Chyrrel and Arden were married 32 years. Arden died January13, 1997. His death left her so lonely, that she married her second husband again, Eugene Pettus. This marriage was short lived as he passed away 5 years later. Chyrrel was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved a good sermon, she delighted audiences with her reading and dramatic abilities. She did world class embroidery. She was a wonderful cook, known by her family and friends for her delicious spaghetti, cream pies and Texas Chocolate Sheet Cake. She had a paper route, she was a housekeeper at several places. She drove everyday to Springdale to make pies, sometimes as many as 35 pies a day. Chyrrel worked three different jobs so that she could help keep her son, Dallen on a mission. Chyrrel is preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, a daughter, Denise Bundy Reninger and a sister, Cecilia Averett. She is survived by her four children: Teresa Bundy of St. George, UT, Tammy Panek (Dave) of Las Vegas, NV, Bruce Pettus of Washington, UT, and Dallen Timothy (Carol) of Gilbert, AZ; three sisters: Loa Nielsen (Orvin), Dawn Bruce (James), and Elese Contrys (Harry) all of Washington, UT; two brothers: Denzel DeMille of Washington, UT, Van Demille (Janice) of Eastland, UT; and five grandchildren: Richard Reninger, Kendall, Olivia, Aaron and Spencer Timothy. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 20, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hurricane LDS 2nd Ward Chapel,155 East 1050 North, Hurricane, Utah. Visitations will be held Wednesday, August 19 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Hurricane Valley Mortuary, 140 N. Main Street and again on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the chapel, prior to services. Interment will be at the Hurricane City Cemetery.
