St. George, Utah – Claire Lorraine Bodmer Moss, 99, passed away September 8, 2023. She was born May 5, 1924, in Riverside, California to Herman and Ludeen Merz Bodmer. She married Fenton Earl Moss on February 5, 1945, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Claire is survived by her children: Lynn Lorraine (Phil) Haslam of West Valley, UT, Daryl Leslie (Carolyn) of St. George, UT, Randy Louis (Kitty) of Frances, UT, Janet Brown (John) Whitaker of Ivins, UT; 16 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchild.

A visitation will be held in St. George, Utah on Sunday, September 10, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary located at 288 West St. George Blvd.

Graveside services will be held in Sandy, Utah on Monday, September 11, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. View Memorial Estates located at 3115 East Bengal Blvd.
