St. George, Utah - Clara Thelma Walden passed away January 27, 2011. She was born April 5, 1921 Ashland, Kentucky to Luther Haden Willis and Carrie Verna Miranda Willis. She married Roy Staley Walden in Grayson County, Kentucky on December 4, 1937. They raised their family in Burlington, WA Clara grew up in Ashland, Kentucky. She had a love for music. She was a devoted homemaker. In 2003, after her husband passed away, she moved in with her son, James. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy; son Gary Eugene; her parents; five brothers; and two sisters. She is survived by her son, James Allen (Linda); eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Mildred Wagner and brother, Carl Willis (Virginia). Graveside services will be held Monday, January 31, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. (Nevada time) at the Logandale, Nevada Cemetery. A visitation will be held Monday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Utah time) at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah.
