Torgersen
August 24, 1982 – March 14, 2020
St. George, Utah – Clinton Don Torgersen, 37, passed away March 14, 2020 at the LDS Hospital after a short battle with cancer. Clint was born August 24, 1982 in Payson, Utah to Phyllis and Donavon Torgersen. He married the love of his life, Irene and recently fulfilled a dream of having a beautiful daughter.
Clint graduated from North Sevier High School in Salina, Utah then continued his education at CEU and graduated from Utah State with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He was an entrepreneur at life and business. He loved to create and build things that no one else had tried. He worked for Bully Dog Tech in Idaho and later wrote programs for PDI in St. George.
Clint was a true friend to many. People that knew him; loved him. He loved to try new things; he even became a frequent visitor at Disneyland. Clint loved to ride and show horses from the time he was four years old. He won a lot of awards during his 4H and show career. He also backed a local riding group (Revolution). He was a perfectionist in all he did and a lover of life.
Clint loved to travel. He was a seasoned traveler. Loved to fly across country to just visit friends. He wanted to see things while he was young because life was there to grab and experience. He and Irene recently were able to travel to Europe and have the vacation of a lifetime.
Clint is survived by his wife, Irene; daughter, Charlotte; mother, Phyllis Torgersen and stepfather, John Payne; father, Donavon Torgersen; and grandparents: Jim and Karen Black. Clint will also be forever remembered by aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and dear friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Kyle and Shirley Torgersen; and great-grandparents: Don and Faye Burns.
The family wishes to thank the staff and doctors at the LDS Hospital.
Private family services will be held March 21, 2020 in St. George, Utah. Interment will be in Eastside Cemetery, Salina, Utah.
