Salt Lake City, UT - Cloanne Andrus Pesquera, Loving wife, compassionate sister, and doting Ta and forever friend passed away in Salt Lake City, UT at the University of Utah Hospital Burn Center due to complications of Stevens-Johnson Syndrome surrounded by hope, faith, and love of family in the early morning hours on May 30, 2009. She was a graceful, loving woman. Cloanne was born November 26, 1967 in St. George, Utah to be the first child to the proud parents of Willard Alwyn Andrus and CloElla Bundy Andrus. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Cloanne graduated from Dixie High School and completed a year at Dixie College before leaving for the East Coast where she met Edward A. Pesquera. Their love and admiration grew and she married and honored Ed to be his wife on September 9, 1999. They lived in Dallas, Texas and Obetz, Ohio, where Ed serves in the US Army, Sergeant First Class. Cloanne earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at Kean College in New Jersey. At that time, she was a nanny to Brett Barett and Courtney Spencer and other children. Cloanne has been currently working for the family business, Andrus Transportation Services Inc., for the last 13 years in customer service and dispatch. Her career has also included retail positions for Gap Inc. She was deeply cherished and will be missed by many, many people. She loved doing and caring for others; whether it be doing a little shopping for the perfect outfit or being of service by babysitting and spending time visiting. She always paid attention to details and loved to travel. Some of her favorite places were Mexico, Hawaii, Australia, and Mall of America. She always made sure time and plans were in place for our family to be together from Christmas holidays to vacations. Cloanne also learned and played golf; she and Ed traveled frequently to golf destinations all over the country. Cloanne also coaxed her brothers to take up the pastime too. Cloanne is survived by her best friend and heart-broken husband, Ed; parents Willard "Bill" and CloElla Bundy Andrus of St. George, Utah; her mother-in-law Luz Pesquera of West New York, New Jersey; sisters Holly A. Lee of Las Vegas, Nevada, Tiffany Andrus of Salt Lake City, Utah, Billie Dawn (Douglas) Ward of North Ogden, Utah, Chant Andrus of Atlanta, Georgia, her sister-in-law Yvonne Pesquera of Boston, Mass., and brothers Tyler Alwyn (Katie) Andrus of Las Vegas, Nevada, Tavish Bundy (Kelsy, his fiance) Andrus, and Trevor Talmage Andrus of St. George, Utah, brothers-in-law Jerry and Julio Pesquera of West New York, New Jersey, as well as, nieces Tayler Anne, Kiana, Emma, Maycee, Kaydence, Kimberly and Emily, and nephews, William, Elijah, Jerry and Christopher; and partner in crime, Gracie, her beagle. She will join her little, big brother, Thomas Willard Andrus and Jerry Pesquera (her father-in-law) on the other side of the veil. Funeral services will be held to honor and celebrate her on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 12:00 p.m., at the Winchester Hills LDS 1st Ward Chapel, 5338 N. Winchester Dr., St. George, UT. A viewing will be held prior to the service and on Wednesday evening from 6:00- 8:00pm at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 W. St. George Blvd., and Thursday, from 10-11:30 a.m., at the chapel, prior to services. She will be laid to rest next to her little brother, Tom on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at the St. George City Cemetery, under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary 435-673-4221.
