St. George – Mr. Cloyd A. Kump, (91) passed away, March 28, 2021 at his home in St. George, Utah. He was born April 11, 1929 to Mr. and Mrs. Zachariah Kump in Lapoint, Utah. He married Bonnie L. Schurz on June 21, 1958.

Cloyd is survived by his wife, Bonnie, and their three children: Tammy (Errol) Jackson of Denver, Colorado, Shauna (Mike) Martinez of Phoenix, Arizona, and Todd (Kirstie) Kump of Phoenix, Arizona; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Mr. Kump was raised in Lapoint, Utah. He retired from the U.S. Parks Service after 34 years of service. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved reading, making music, playing the guitar, and traveling. He was a humble, gentle man, the kindest of souls, who loved his family. He loved to make others laugh and always had a smile on his face.

Funeral Services will be held, Friday, April 2, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Santa Clara 8 ^th Ward, 3680 Pioneer Pkwy, Santa Clara, Utah   A visitation will be prior to services from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Interment will be in the Ivins City Cemetery.
