St. George - Colleen Jorgensen peacefully left this world on July 20, 2021.  She was blessed with a long, wonderful life filled with a strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ, giving service to others, temple work and raising four amazing children.  She especially enjoyed spending time with friends and family playing cards, quilting, reading and traveling.  She loved playing Hand and Foot and she usually won, by a lot!  It was the rare occasion to NOT have a quilt on a frame in the family home while raising her family.

Colleen was able to spend her retirement years in her beloved Utah.  Every day she expressed her love of and appreciation for living in beautiful St. George.

She leaves behind four children and their spouses, thirteen grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, a brother and sister-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.

Colleen was a wonderful friend and mother and will be missed daily.

Our family would especially like to thank Alice Jensen for being such a kind and sweet care companion to Colleen, and to Snow Canyon Beehive Home for the exceptional care and kindness in the care of our mother.  We will be eternally grateful.

A visitation will be held Monday, July 26, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah. Graveside services will follow in the St. George City Cemetery.
