Hurricane, UT – Colleen Smith, age 85, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on August 8, 2025. She was born on September 18, 1939, to Burt McCoard and Chloe Mills in Stockton, Utah. She was a homemaker and the best wife and mother anyone could ask for.

Colleen is preceded in death by her parents, and survived by her loving family including husband, children, grandchildren, and many others who will miss her greatly.

Funeral services will be held on Friday August 15, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Hurricane 3rd Ward Chapel, 677 South 700 West, Hurricane, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the services from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the church. Interment will be at the Hurricane City Cemetery, located at 225 East 600 North, Hurricane, Utah.
