As a child her family moved to Albuquerque, NM and later returned to Salt Lake City. She graduated from West High School in 1966 and loved being a member of their pep club. After starting her family, she was hired at the Ogden IRS Center, and later transferred to Hill Air Force Base. She retired with 30 years of Federal service.
