St George, Utah - Connie L Johansen, a very loved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend passed away peacefully at the age of 78 on April 1, 2025. She was born on June 1, 1946, in Salt Lake City to Shirley and Jack Nipper. She married the love of her life, Dennis Johansen, on September 27, 1996, in St George, Utah.

Connie always enjoyed going camping, boating, and any adventure she could share with Dennis.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis; daughter, Tammy Larsen of Torrington, Wyoming; son, Larry (Aubrey) Larsen of South Dakota; daughter, Joni (Richard) Swanson of Weber, Utah; daughter, Kayla (CJ) West of Layton, Utah; son, Brian Johansen of Butte, Montana; sister, Lorraine (Tom) Williamson of Las Vegas, Nevada; brother, Roy (Fay) Nipper of Log Lane Village, Colorado; sister, Joy Nipper of Salt Lake City, Utah; brother, Jack (Tracy) Nipper of Salt Lake City, Utah; along with numerous grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Graveside services will be on Monday April 7, 2025, at the Tonaquint Cemetery located at 1777 South Dixie Drive in St George, Utah at 1:15 PM. A viewing will be held prior at Metcalf Mortuary located at 288 West St George Blvd, in St George, Utah from 12 – 1 PM.
