St. George, Utah - Corinne Esplin Bowler passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on July 14, 2011. She was born June 2, 1926 in St. George, Utah to Ward H. and Violet Church Esplin. She married Conrad Sorenson Bowler September 9, 1946. They were later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple. Corinne grew-up in St. George. She graduated from Dixie High School and attended Dixie State College. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many church callings including: Primary President, Relief Society President, Ward Librarian, Temple Worker, Visiting Teacher and other capacities. Corinne loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed reading and quilting. She was an avid horsewoman and animal lover. She was a business partner in Bowlers Training Stable. She loved to go riding and suntan while she watered the horses. She was also one of the original Washington County Sheriffs Posettes. She is survived by her husband, Conrad Conny ; children: Randy (Gai) Bowler, John Bowler and Troy (Kerrie) Bowler; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by her sister, Janice Ence. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Duane Esplin Funeral services will be held Monday, July 18, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah. Visitations will held Sunday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday, prior to services, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m both at Metcalf Mortuary.
