Hurricane, Utah - Craig James Palmer, 67, passed away September 26, 2010 in Hurricane, UT. Craig was born October 14, 1942 in Madison, WI to Daniel E. Palmer and Dorothy M. Miller. He was married to Laurel Palmer. Craig was raised on a few Army Bases in different areas and then they moved to Elgin, IL. He graduated from Elgin High School in 1960. Craig enjoyed seeing the world . He lived in a variety of places including Chicago, IL, Phoenix, AZ, Madison, WI, Kalispell, MT, Hurricane, UT and many others. He loved to travel and take pictures everywhere and of everyone. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He enjoyed his love of The Chicago Bears and The Chicago Cubs. His life revolved around his family and the lights of his life - his grandchildren. Craig is survived by his wife, Laurel Palmer of 29 years; his 10 children: Jeremy Palmer of CO and son, Tyler Palmer; Kimberly and Jacob Timpson of UT and sons, Trenton P. Timpson and Riley P. Timpson, and daughter, Kaylei S. Timpson; and Daniel Palmer of NV. He is also survived by brothers: Ronald of MN, Daniel of IL, Marlon of Australia, Kevin of IL and Brion of IL; sisters: Michelle of GA, Tami of OH, and MaryKay of KY; and all the countless family members he loved. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Palmer and mother, Dorothy Palmer; and countless other family members. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 2, 2010 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Hurricane Valley Mortuary, 140 North Main Street, Hurricane, Utah.
