- Dale Scott Benge, 38, born August 27, 1979 in Glendale, CA to Russell Benge and Tammy Summers. He married the love of his life, Vickie Duff in St. George, Utah on December 5, 2001. They welcomed their first child, Dallan Scott Benge, on July 4, 2002. After many years of waiting they welcomed there beautiful baby girl, Emma Vickie Benge, on August 8, 2012. Dale's children meant the world to him. He was an amazing father and did his best to provide for his family.
Dale spent most of his life in the Saint George area. He loved wood work, and working on classic cars. He really loved the holidays especially Christmas. Pine Valley was his favorite Sunday drive, they made lots of family memories. He and Vickie loved to visit Durango, Colorado - it was their favorite place to be. Our recent family vacation to Disneyland was amazing and the memories will last a lifetime. Dale always had a contagious smile and laugh. He had a sense of humor only few could understand. He loved baking and to have a good family BBQ. Dale was determined to make his family and friends proud. He was very active in his recovery and took pride in his accomplishments. Dale had a way of helping others through hard times because he had been their many times himself. His children were his world. Dale will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Our family thanks you for all your prayers and blessings.
Dale was preceded in death by his grandpa, Leo Benge, and uncle, Terri Benge He leaves behind his loving wife, Vickie Benge Duff; two beautiful children: Dallan Benge and Emma Benge; parents, Russell and Tammy; grandmother, Lois; brothers: Ron, Daniel, Shane (Sheena) and Shawn (Brittany); in-laws: Danny and Jeannie Brown, Larry and Terri Duff, Jeannie and Steve Hathenbruck, Lisa and Stoney Woolsey, Tommy and Amanda Duff, Michael and Nikki Duff, Autumn Duff; and 17 nephews and nieces.
Funeral service will be held a Monday, November 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., with a visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m., at the Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah. Interment will be in Tonaquint Cemetery.
