St. George – Dan L. Curtis, 88, passed away April 18, 2023. He was born in Aurora, Utah, on February 7, 1935, to Richard Avery and Cassie Elnora Johnson Curtis. He married Ruth Ann Nelson on November 23, 1967. They were later sealed in the Jordan River Temple.

Dan worked as a HVAC sales manager for Holmes Heating and Cooling. He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was always willing to serve and help others. He loved the outdoors, gardening, camping, fishing, hunting, and family outings.

Dan is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Curtis; children: Christine (Floyd) Sargent, John Avery Curtis, and Gloria (Robert) Miller; brother, Sid (Gwen) Curtis; sister, Vonda Robins; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Dan was preceded in death by his parents; son, Dan Lee Curtis; brother, Don Avery Curtis; and sisters: Lenna Winn, Fern Gwen Shepard, and Elnora Stanley.

Graveside Services will be held Friday, April 28, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Tonaquint Cemetery, 1777 South Dixie Drive, St George, Utah.
