St. George, Utah - David Wayne Adams, born November 8, 1982 in Jackson, Mississippi returned home to his Heavenly Father on Friday, October 8, 2010. Wayne was a member of the Utah National Guard and completed Airborne Jump School. He was a full-time student working towards his Bachelors Degree. Wayne loved animals, sports, the outdoors and spending time with his family. He is survived by his parents, G. David Adams, Diana L. Peterson and step-father, Scott C. Peterson; and siblings: Matt, Ethan and Mary. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert H. Blackmer who will be waiting with open arms. Wayne will be dearly missed by those who loved him. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah. Visitation will be held Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Mortuary, prior to services.
