Enterprise, Utah – David Ross Good passed away peacefully in the arms of his beloved wife, Becky, Sunday, January 16, 2022, in his Enterprise Home.
David was born March 28, 1949, in Reno, Nevada. He was the only child of John and Wilma Good. He grew-up in Las Vegas, Nevada and graduated in 1967 from Las Vegas High School.
David joined the Army on February 4, 1968. He had a tour to Vietnam and received an honorable discharge in 1972. He stayed active in the military by joining the Army National Guard Reserves. He was a cook for the Army and the National Guard. After 5 years David received a honorable discharge on January 26, 1977.
While he was a student teacher, he met his sweetheart, Becky Ann Daniels. After being engaged 1 year and 1 month, they were married on July 8, 1972, in the 8 th & Lendon LDS Chapel in Las Vegas. They were blessed with two beautiful children: David Daniel and Christie Ann.
In 1974 David and his family moved to Reno, Nevada. In 1977 they moved to Enterprise, Utah where they called home. On October 2, 1984, David and Becky solemnized their marriage and their children were sealed to them for time and all eternity in the St. George Temple.
David and Becky did genealogy and Temple ordinance work. Later David served a two-and-a-half-year mission for the church. He also served as ward clerk.
David was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved to help others and enjoyed showering Becky Ann and his children with gifts. He also enjoyed sports, camping, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, riding motorcycles cross country from Barstow to Vegas, old-time cars and hunting.
David was an accomplished pianist. He received a scholarship to the University of California, Berkley and later transferred to UNLV where he received a degree in music. He was proficient on all brass. He even played trumpet for Jim Nabors and many others.
David was a truck driver for 18 years. Later Becky joined him, and they were a husband-and-wife team for 6 and a half years, burning tread across the USA.
David is survived by his loving wife of 49 and a half years, Becky Ann; son, David (Carrie); daughter, Christie Ann; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; Aunt Charlene; and brother-in-law, Rick (Judy) Daniels.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 27, 2022, at 1:00 p.m.at the Enterprise Stake Center, 80 South Center Street, Enterprise, Utah. A viewing will be held Thursday, prior to services, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Stake Center. Interment will be in the Enterprise City Cemetery.
