Henderson, Nevada - Dean Campbell Barber, 84, passed away on January 20, 2015 in Henderson, NV. Born December 3, 1930 to Frank Webb Barber and Doris Campbell Barber in Hurricane, Utah. Dean attended Hurricane High School & served our country in the Korean War. Dean married Charleen Holyoak in 1965. Dean worked in Tonopah for many years before retiring to enjoy his hobbies of hunting and watching over his many grandchildren. Dean was preceded in death by his parents, Webb & Doris Barber and his beautiful wife Charleen. He is survived by his loving children: Lori, Marilee, Greg, Jeff, Lisa, Chad; many beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at the Hurricane City Cemetery. A viewing will be held Saturday, prior to services, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at Metcalf Hurricane Valley Mortuary, 140 North Main Street, Hurricane, Utah. Friends and family are invited to the American Legion Hall for a luncheon following services.
